Somebody hopes to party as hard as this guy tonight.
via SB Nation
How about that Jeremy Lamb?  Damn.  Quick!  To the stats!

Connecticut 71, West Virginia 67
Huskies advance to Big East Quarterfinals
-Deniz Kilicli fouled out with the Mountaineers up 8, four minutes left on the clock.  Completely changed the game.  UConn surged back to force overtime and took it from there.  Jeremy Lamb drops another 22 and likely secures UConn a spot in the tourney.  The Huskies have won 12 straight post-season games and meet #2 Syracuse (30-1, 17-1) tomorrow.  The Orange have won the previous two meetings by a combined 21 points.

Stephen F. Austin 68, Sam Houston State 46
Lumberjacks advance to Southland Semifinals
-Stephen F. Austin's balanced scoring and stiff defense allows them to win a game they had no business losing. The Lumberjacks will play the winner of today's Lamar (21-11, 11-5).  Their previous matchup ended in a win for SF Austin.

East Carolina 68, Rice 66
Pirates advance to Conference USA Quarterfinals
-East Carolina gets four in double digits as their able to hold off the Owls to advance in the Conference USA Tournament.  They will face Southern Miss (24-7, 11-5) in the Quarterfinals.  The Eagles have won both meetings this season.

Texas Southern 75, Alabama A&M 62
Tigers advance to SWAC Semifinals
-Demarquelle Tabb gets 20 and snags 9 boards to help the Tigers cruise past A&M to reach the SWAC Semis.  They will face the winner of tomorrow's Prairie View A&M - Alcorn State Quarterfinal.

#14 Georgetown 64, Pittsburgh 52
Hoyas advance to Big East Quarterfinals
-Otto Porter and Henry Sims both drop 20 on the Panthers as the Hoyas win and advance to the Quarterfinals.  This loss ends Pitt's season, which started with promise but fell apart considerably during conference play.  Georgetown will play Cincinnati (22-9, 12-6) tomorrow.  The Bearcasts defeated Georgetown earlier this season in DC.

Oregon State 69, Washington State 64
Beavers advance to Pac-12 Quarterfinals
-Marcus Capers' last game as a Cougar does not end well as the Beavers upset Wazzu in Los Angeles.  This game fucking sucked.  Like, not because I picked it wrong, but because both teams are fucking terrible.  Jesus Christ, take away Pac-12's autobid.  Oregon State will play Washington (21-9, 14-4) tomorrow.  The Huskies won both meetings this season.

Marshall 74, SMU 56
Thundering Herd advance to Conference USA Quarterfinals
-Marshall took advantage of their +10 rebounding advantage on their way to stomping out SMU's season.  Marshall will play Tulsa (17-13, 10-6), who defeated them 79-70 on February 4th.

Lamar 76, Northwestern State 69
Cardinals advance to Southland Semifinals
-Lamar's bench scores 35 as the Cardinals come from behind to advance to the Semis.  Lamar will play Stephen F. Austin (20-11, 12-4).  The Lumberjacks defeated Lamar previously this season.

UCLA 55, USC 40
Bruins advance to Pac-12 Quarterfinals
-USC got an early lead but couldn't hold on as UCLA goes on to blow out the Trojans.  USC will end a disappointing season and will look to start from scratch in 2012-13.  The Bruins will play Arizona (21-10, 12-6) tomorrow in Los Angeles.  The two teams have split the season series.

Hampton 59, Savannah State 46
Pirates advance to MEAC Semifinals
-In a result that many people did not see coming, Hampton scraps to it's second straight victory in the MEAC Tournament.  Savannah State will now hope for an NIT invite, as their Tourney hopes are dashed.  The Pirates will play winner of tomorrow's Bethune-Cookman/Florida A&M game.
