Previewing the Final Weekend -- Big 6

via SB Nation
It's all down to this.  Two days.  Some Conferences will be done today, but everyone's gotta be done by tomorrow.  Let's jump in!!!

ACC Semifinals; Atlanta, GA

1 pm (ESPN)
North Carolina State Wolfpack (22-11, 9-7) vs. #11 North Carolina Tar Heels(28-4, 14-2)
Robby's pick:  UNC.  The Wolfpack haven't been able to be very competitive against their rivals, and haven't looked like a team that can compete this time around.  UNC holds a 2-0 record vs. NCSU this season.
3pm (ESPN)
 #17 Florida State Seminoles (22-9, 12-4) vs. #6 Duke Blue Devils (27-5, 13-3)
Robby's pick:  Duke.  The Seminoles are scrappy overachievers, but Duke's almost always in the ACC finals.  Coach K's kids are going to be prepared and focused.  I'm not big on either team come the Tournament though... both should bow out in the Sweet 16.  The season series between these two teams stands at one game apiece.

Big East Finals; New York, NY

9 pm (ESPN)
Louisville Cardinals (25-9, 10-8) vs. Cincinnati Bearcats (24-9, 12-6)
Robby's pick:  Louisville.  The Cardinals have won me over in the tournament, especially on D.  Silva is a beast of a player and I think Cincy played their best possible game last night.  'Ville shows flashes of a possible Elite 8-Final 4 run if the cards land right.  Cincinnati won their only season meeting.

Big Ten Semifinals; Indianapolis, IN

1:40 pm (CBS)
#12 Wisconsin Badgers (24-8, 12-6) vs. #8 Michigan State Spartans (24-8, 13-5)
Robby's pick:  Michigan State.  Tom Izzo has another amazing team primed for a Final Four run.  Wisconsin has to slow this game down to a grinding halt in order to keep Sparty in check.  MSU is 2-0 vs. the Badgers this season.

4pm (CBS)
#7 Ohio State Buckeyes (26-6, 13-5) vs. #13 Michigan Wolverines (24-8, 13-5)
Robby's pick:  Ohio State.  Buckeyes played like a team possessed yesterday, making short work of a very talented Purdue team.  Michigan reminds me a lot of aforementioned FSU... scrappy, and overachieving.  Will be an upset target early in the NCAA Tournament.  The season series is tied 1-1.

Big XII Final; Kansas City, MO

6pm (ESPN)
#11 Baylor Bears (27-6, 12-6) vs. #5 Missouri Tigers (29-4, 14-4)
Robby's pick:  Baylor.  The Bears look like a completely different team in Kansas City.  Perry Jones may be awake finally and that may spell bad news for the Tigers since Baylor has played them tough the previous two meetings.  Mizzou won both of those meetings.

PAC-12 Final; Los Angeles, CA

6pm (CBS)
Colorado Buffaloes (22-11, 11-7) vs. Arizona Wildcats (23-10, 12-6)
Robby's pick:  Colorado.  A lot of people are talking like the PAC-12 is a one bid league, which is disappointing noting all the history in this conference.  I think that these two are both in, and both Washington and Cal deserve to be in as well.  It's not as bad as you think, y'all.  Colorado has been nothing but overly impressive down the stretch and have hit their stride in their new conference.  The season series is tied 1-1.

SEC Final; New Orleans, LA

1pm (ABC)
#19 Florida Gators (23-9, 10-6) vs. #1 Kentucky Wildcats (31-1, 16-0)
Robby's pick:  Kentucky.  Florida doesn't match up well at all with the Wildcats.  UK rolls.

3:30 pm (ABC)
Ole Miss Rebels (20-12, 8-8) vs. Vanderbilt Commodores (22-10, 10-6)
Robby's pick:  Vandy.  Ole Miss has a HUGE task in front of them.  Win, and they've get a shot at the auto-bid.  However, Vandy is no push over.  They are looking to enter the tournament with momentum and the Rebels' luck is due to run out.  Vandy holds a 1-0 advantage over Ole Miss this year.
