DePaul fans are DEFINITELY losing their religion.
For most everyone, the College Hoops season is over. So we're looking ahead at what's in store for teams next year. We're starting at the bottom, and previewing each team all the way to the top in the power 6 conferences. First up is Boston College of the ACC and DePaul of the Big East.

Despite their struggles this past season, Boston College has something to look forward too. They may have lost four players in Salah Abdo, Deirunas Visockas, John Cahill, and Peter Relanquist, but they only lose 4.4% of their scoring and 6% of their rebounding. Not bad. They also have quite the young core to go into next season with, starting four sophomores, with two more coming off the bench. They return their 7 top leading scorers. Not a bad start. They are bringing in two more PGs in this year's freshman class: Oliver Hanlan (***) of Gatineau, Quebec, and Joe Rahon (**) of Del Mar, CA. You'd expect Hanlan to maybe get some playing time this year, but obviously you don't know until he gets there.

This team has a 3 year window yet to do great things. They could be an NCAA Tournament team next season, but let's just take baby steps for now. They have a great deal of talent coming up the ladder that will only mature and get better (one would hope). They are in a good position in the ACC, I feel that they will get the opportunities to build this program back up.

So, we have here DePaul. They've been atrocious ever since they moved to the Big East. They just haven't been able to compete. Like, at all. Them and Providence. Yet, here they are, kind of improving year by year. There's not much of a foundation to build on, this year's core is going to be Juniors and still haven't done too well. There's a limited amount of sophomores coming up the pipe and their three recruits are iffy at best. They are losing Jeremiah Kelly and Krys Faber, which is 13% of their scoring and 22% of their rebounding. They are bringing in DeJuan Marrero (***) SF from Gary, IN; Jordan Price (**) SF from Southfield, MI; and Durrell McDonald who is unrated by ESPN, SG from Henderson, NV. Next year's starting lineup will include 3 Juniors, a Senior, and a sophomore.
STARTERS:
G - Worrel Clahar (Sr.; Brooklyn, NY) 5'11", 179, 6.0 ppg
G - Brandon Young (Jr.; Baltimore, MD) 6'8", 208, 9.0 14.5 ppg
G - Charles McKinney (So.; Evanston, IL) 6'3", 178, 4.2 ppg
F - Moses Morgan (Jr.; Las Vegas, NV) 6'6", 219, 14.5 ppg
F - Cleveland Melvin (Jr.; Baltimore, MD) 6'8", 208, 17.5 ppg
BENCH:
F - Jamee Crockett (So.; Chicago, IL) 6'4", 201, 8.6 ppg
F - Donnavan Kirk (Jr.; Pontiac, MI) 6'9", 222, 3.5 ppg
C - Derrell Robertson Jr. (So.; Pinola, MS) 6'10", 239, 0.8 ppg
I'm just not seeing where they can compete in this conference. They'll be helped out by some of the weaker basketball additions to the conference, such as Houston and SMU, but all in all, I'd be expecting another rough season for the Blue Demons. This team just has not shown that they can survive the grind day in and day out in this conference.
