Bout Ta' Bubble!

Who's in... who's out??? Breaking it down for ya here at Foul To The Finish!
(tl;dr version at bottom lol)
Arizona Wildcats (23-11, 12-6 Pac-12)
RPI: 75, Record vs. NCAA:  4-9
Key wins:  @ Cal
Key losses:  @ Arizona State
Robby:  Not a chance, the loss at Arizona State was crippling.  A lot of young talent to build around for next year.  Reminds me of Alabama last year.

Brigham Young Cougars (25-8, 12-4 WCC)
RPI: 48, Record vs. NCAA:  2-6
Key wins: Gonzaga
Key losses:  @ Utah State, Loyola Marymount
Robby:  I have them in.  WCC is a tough conference, so I won't knock them for losing to LMU, especially since they picked up a big win against Gonzaga.  Not a sexy resume, but thorough.

California Golden Bears (24-9, 13-5 Pac-12)
RPI:  39, Record vs. NCAA:  4-6
Key wins:  none
Key losses:  @ Oregon State, @ Washington State
Robby:  I have Cal in.  I actually have 3 Pac-12 teams in.  Why?  Because I think the committee will make sure the Pac-12 is as well represented as the Mountain West.  The 40 point loss to Mizzou early this year though doesn't look good at all.

Colorado State Rams (20-11, 8-6)
RPI:  31, Record vs. NCAA:  5-6
Key wins:  @ New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV
Key losses:  @ Northern Iowa, @ Wyoming, @ TCU, @ Boise State
Robby:  Another team I have in.  Fourth toughest schedule in the nation.  Go look at their schedule.  You tell me the Rams shouldn't dance.

Drexel Dragons (27-6, 16-2 CAA)
RPI: 65, Record vs. NCAA: 2-4
Key wins:  VCU
Key losses:  Norfolk State, Delaware, @ Georgia State
Robby:  I have Drexel as one of the first four out.  Depends on how the committee views the PAC-12.  We know they love the CAA, so Dragons may get in.  Thanks a lot, VCU.

George Mason Patroits (24-9, 14-4 CAA)
RPI:  77, Record vs. NCAA:  2-4
Key wins:  VCU
Key losses:  Florida International, @ Florida Altantic, Duquesne, @ Delaware, @ Northeastern
Robby: Final Four Sleeper pick!  LOL NO!

Iona Gaels (25-7, 15-3 MAAC)
RPI:  46, Record vs. NCAA 4-3
Key wins:  none
Key losses:  @ Marshall, @ Hofstra, Siena, Fairfield
Robby:  Another in the first four out.  Losing to Fairfield really tanked them.

Mississippi State Bulldogs (21-11, 8-8 SEC)
RPI: 74, Record vs. NCAA:  7-3
Key wins:  West Virginia, @ Vanderbilt
Key losses:  Akron, @ Arkansas, Georgia (x2), @ LSU, @ Auburn
Robby:  First four out.  Bulldogs dropped critical games vs. LSU & Auburn.  We all know that Georgia's a crapshoot so not holding that against them.

North Carolina State Wolfpack (22-12, 9-7 ACC)
RPI: 50, Record vs. NCAA:  3-9
Key wins:  none
Key losses:  Georgia Tech
Robby: NC State ABSOLUTELY should be dancing.

Northwestern Wildcats (18-13, 8-10 Big Ten)
RPI: 61, Record vs. NCAA:  3-10
Key wins:  Michigan State
Key losses:  Illinois, Minnesota (x2)
Robby:  Northwestern, what will we do with you?  I don't have them in.  Tough schedule, a lot of close games, but they had too many opportunities and blew them.  They didn't lose many games they shouldn't have, but they didn't win any either.

Oregon Ducks (22-9, 13-8 Pac-12)
RPI:  62, Record vs. NCAA:  2-8
Key wins:  Washington
Key losses:  Oregon State
Robby:  I got the Ducks in as well.  Again, this is predicated on my perception that the NCAA will reward the Pac-12 even though it's mediocre.  Plus, they only have one bad loss.

Saint Joseph's Hawks (20-13, 9-7 A-10)
RPI: 68, Record vs. NCAA:  2-7
Key wins:  Creighton
Key losses:  @ American, @ Charlotte, @ Penn, Richmond
Robby:  St. Joe's is another team, like GMU, that I don't understand why their on the bubble.  Not big on the Hawks as a tourney team.

Seton Hall Pirates (20-12, 8-10 Big East)
RPI: 67, Record vs. NCAA:  4-8
Key wins:  VCU, West Virginia, Connecticut
Key losses:  Villanova, Rutgers, @ DePaul
Robby:  First four out.  They've got dibs on one of those Pac-12 spots, since the NCAA drools over the Big East.  Pirates dropped the Rutgers & DePaul games late and will come back to haunt them.

Southern Mississippi Eagles (25-8, 11-5 Conf USA)
RPI:  21, Record vs. NCAA:  6-2
Key wins:  South Florida, Memphis
Key losses:  @ Denver, @ UAB, @ Houston, @ UTEP, Marshall (x2)
Robby:  I don't see the discussion here.  Eagles soar into the tourney.

Valparaiso Crusaders (22-11, 14-4 Horizon)
RPI:  94, Record vs. NCAA:  1-3
Key wins:  none
Key losses:  @ IUPU-Fort Worth, @ Oakland, Milwaukee, @ Wright State,
@ Green Bay, @ Youngstown State, @ Loyola Marymount
Robby:  Look at those losses.  It's like that Credit Score commercial.  Everything looks fine, until you wee the losses.  Yeeeeesh.

Washington Huskies (21-10, 14-4 Pac-12)
RPI:  69, Record vs. NCAA:  2-8
Key wins:  none
Key losses:  South Dakota State, Oregon State
Robby:  Washington is definitely in regardless of the Pac-12's reputation.

Xavier Musketeers (21-12, 10-6 A-10)
RPI:  36, Record vs. NCAA:  2-7
Key wins:  @ Vanderbilt, Cincinnati
Key losses:  Oral Roberts, @ Hawaii, @ Massachusetts
Robby:  Xavier is dancing.  In the last four in with the Pac-12 schools.

RECAP:  I've got BYU, Colorado State, NC State, & Southern Miss DANCING
I have California, Oregon, Washington, & Xavier LAST FOUR IN
I have Drexel, Iona, Mississippi State, & Seton Hall FIRST FOUR OUT
....and Arizona, George Mason, Northwestern, St. Joe's, & Valpo as NO.
